Abstract

Performance measurement and future planning. Evaluation of employee performance absolutely must be done to determine the achievements to be achieved by each employee. In practice, employee performance appraisal activities must be carried out with good and appropriate methods, so that there are no errors in the assessment. The results of the assessment carried out must be able to guarantee fair and satisfactory treatment for the employees being assessed, so that in turn fosters loyalty and morale. However, this method has several problems including the assessment is still vague, there is a halo effect, the tendency is centered, influenced by age, race and gender. The decision support system is a tool that can be used to evaluate employee performance by improving the method of evaluating appraised performance. The Simple Additive Weighting, Weighted Product, Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method was chosen to evaluate and rank employee performance. From the test results it can be concluded that this application can choose employee performance appraisal.
