Sosislisasi Dampak Penggunaan Artificial Intelligence (AI) Untuk SMA YPK Oikumene Manokwari

The advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has brought significant convenience to human tasks, including in the field of education. High school students, in particular, find it increasingly easy to access information through various platforms and AI-based applications; however, misuse can sometimes lead to a decline in critical thinking skills. Therefore, a proper understanding is essential to ensure that AI usage does not result in negative consequences. This Community Service (PKM) activity aims to enhance the understanding of students at SMA YPK Oikumene regarding the benefits and potential impacts of AI usage. The implementation methods employed included awareness-raising sessions, lectures, Q&A discussions, and case studies. The activity was conducted over the course of a single day, from 08:00 to 15:00. The program was deemed successful based on the evaluation of students' comprehension, evidenced by their enthusiastic and correct responses to questions posed by the team regarding the impacts of AI and the appropriateness of its use.
