Mangrove forest areas in West Lombok Regency have generally declined due to various factors. Addressing this issue requires collaboration among various stakeholders, given the current and future importance of mangroves. The generation born between 2010 and 2024 (Generation Alpha)—particularly those currently in primary and junior high school—plays a crucial role not only in replanting efforts but also in the long-term conservation of mangroves. Recognizing this role, it is deemed necessary to directly involve this group in mangrove forest rehabilitation. The activity revealed that students showed the greatest interest in the ‘action’ method—direct participation in mangrove planting (30.4%)—while the least preferred method was the lecture approach (7.73%). The primary reason cited by Generation Alpha participants for their involvement was that the activity was ‘fun’ (33.33%). Thus, it can be concluded that Generation Alpha can be effectively engaged in mangrove forest conservation by using ‘action’ as a method to stimulate participation.
