Pengembangan Dan Sosialisasi Sistem Informasi Akademik Berbasis Web Sebagai Upaya Digitalisasi Sekolah Di MTs Al-Ittihadiyah

The rapid development of information technology requires educational institutions to adapt through the application of digital systems to improve the efficiency and quality of academic information services. In fact, many schools still manage and disseminate academic information manually, for example through announcement boards, printed media, and messaging groups, so that information dissemination is not yet optimal. This condition also occurs at MTs Al-Ittihadiyah, which still faces obstacles in managing school administration and disseminating information. Therefore, this Community Service (PKM) activity aims to develop and disseminate a web-based Academic Information System as a medium for school digitalization. The implementation method includes needs analysis through observation and interviews, system design using the Waterfall approach, website development using HTML5 and CSS3, system implementation on a server, and socialization and basic website-building training for students. The developed website uses a one-page concept with Home, About Us, New Student Admission (PPDB), Photo Gallery, and Contact menus. The results show that the system was successfully implemented, can be accessed online, and is able to improve the efficiency of school information dissemination compared to the previous manual method. Teachers and school operators are able to independently manage website content after the training, while students gained basic understanding and skills in website creation using HTML and CSS. This activity resulted in a more effective, transparent, and accessible school information medium, as well as increased readiness of MTs Al-Ittihadiyah to face the digital transformation of education.
