PELATIHAN PENGGUNAAN APLIKASI SIMAS-G PADA GURU SEKOLAH MENENGAH KEJURUAN TECHNO MEDIA

Abstract

Digital transformation in education requires schools to strengthen teachers’ ability to use information technology for learning and administrative activities. This community service activity aimed to improve the understanding and skills of teachers at Techno Media Vocational High School in using the SIMAS-G application. The activity used several stages, including needs observation, material delivery, application demonstration, hands-on practice, mentoring, and evaluation. Participants were introduced to the application functions, login process, menu navigation, main features, and practical use in school activities. Evaluation was conducted through practice observation and pre-test and post-test instruments that can be adjusted to the actual activity data. The results indicate that practical training combined with direct mentoring helped participants understand the application workflow and increased their readiness to use SIMAS-G independently. The activity is expected to strengthen teachers’ digital literacy and support digital transformation within the school environment.
