Abstract

The problem faced by MAN 11 Jakarta is the low level of literacy and numeracy skills among some teachers in integrating learning activities with digital media. This condition affects the optimization of innovative, engaging, and contextual learning processes that are aligned with the demands of the Kurikulum Merdeka. Teachers still tend to rely on conventional teaching methods, resulting in limited opportunities for students to experience interactive and contextual learning. In addition, limited understanding of the use of educational technology has prevented literacy and numeracy materials from being fully utilized to support students’ competency achievement. The solution offered through this program is a digital media-based literacy and numeracy training program aimed at improving the competencies of teachers at MAN 11 Jakarta. The program focuses on enhancing teachers’ abilities to design, develop, and utilize interactive digital media for learning. The methods employed include workshops, intensive mentoring, and hands-on practice in developing literacy- and numeracy-based learning content that can be accessed by students both online and offline. Continuous evaluation is also conducted to ensure that teachers are able to independently implement the knowledge and skills acquired through the training in their teaching and learning activities. The expected outcomes of the program include: (1) improved teacher competencies in digital-based literacy and numeracy; (2) the availability of learning modules and digital learning media relevant to various subjects; (3) the publication of a community service article in a reputable journal; and (4) improved learning quality at MAN 11 Jakarta to support the achievement of the Kurikulum Merdeka. Therefore, this program is expected to provide a sustainable positive impact on the improvement of teacher and student competencies, as well as the overall quality of the school.
