Edukasi Persiapan Pranikah Bagi Remaja Di Dukuh Karasan Desa Candirejo Sebagai Upaya Mewujudkan Keluarga Berkualitas

Premarital preparation education was conducted for adolescents in Karasan Hamlet, Candirejo Village, Ngawen District, Klaten Regency, to improve their understanding of readiness for family life. The activity was held on 28 July 2026 from 19.30–21.30 WIB at the residence of Davin and involved approximately 40 adolescents aged 14–25 years. A participatory approach was used through counseling, discussion, question-and-answer, and oral evaluation. The materials covered mental and spiritual readiness, reproductive health and preconception, family communication, conflict management, and economic readiness. Interview findings indicated changes in participants’ understanding of marriage, from a view focused mainly on romantic relationships to an understanding that marriage requires physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, health, communication, and economic preparation. Participants also began planning their education, employment, savings, self-development, and health before marriage. The activity indicates that premarital education can serve as a preventive effort to help adolescents plan family life more maturely.
