Currently, the food ordering process is done with customers coming to the canteen cashier. However, this ordering method often encounters problems when there are many customers who want to order food, such as mixed-up orders due to the lack of order recording. The objective of this research is to create an Android-based food sales system that can transform the previously manual sales system into a computerized one. The food sales application at Citra Cafe's cafeteria is a system that provides convenience in ordering food and reduces errors such as mixed-up orders. For this research, a qualitative approach is implemented using the prototype method for system development. To gather data, this study utilizes interview techniques and observations to obtain processable data that can be used to design the system according to the requirements. Furthermore, this research also applies blackbox and whitebox testing methods to test the designed system. In order to improve efficiency and responsiveness to customer needs and keep up with technological advancements, this research aims to design a website-based catalog application for Mama Abil Collection sewing shop using the waterfall method.The waterfall method was chosen as the approach for software development due to its structured and organized framework. The development stages included requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The requirements analysis phase involved interviews with the shop owners and customers to understand their needs and expectations for the catalog application. Based on the analysis, a system application was designed to meet those requirements.The catalog application was developed using PHP programming language, utilizing the CodeIgniter framework to expedite the development process. MySQL database was employed to store product data, categories, and customer information. Additionally, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript were utilized to create a responsive and visually appealing user interface.During the testing phase, functionality and reliability tests were conducted to ensure the application performed well and met user requirements. Additionally, user interface testing was performed to enhance the user experience.It is expected that this design of the catalog application will help Mama Abil Collection sewing shop enhance efficiency in managing their product catalog and provide an improved shopping experience for customers. However, traditional agricultural systems face many challenges, including low productivity; traditional farming may not be as productive as modern methods. Additionally, dependence on weather conditions poses a significant barrier to production. To improve the quality and productivity of traditional agriculture, methodologies such as developing smart farming systems can be implemented. Smart farming applies technology in agriculture to enhance efficiency, productivity, and sustainability through sensors and IoT devices to manage and monitor agricultural activities more effectively. The smart farming system to be developed is based on the SCADA concept, where control of devices such as temperature sensors, soil moisture, light, and rainfall sensors, as well as actuators, is managed via the ModBus protocol based on the RS-485 RTU module. For controllers connected to the internet server, the ESP32 module will be used. Users can access the system using smartphones or laptops equipped with a wireless modem to establish remote connections via the internet. Thus, the application of this technology can significantly increase agricultural productivity and improve the efficiency of managing fields and crops.
